Okinawa hosts a large US-military community, and many service members and families train in karate, kobudo, BJJ, boxing and more — on base and in the towns around it. This page pulls together 5 on-base programmes and 10 off-base places where English is confirmed or likely.

Good to know. Off-base gyms are usually easiest to join: no base access needed, and many have English-speaking staff.
